As a young man, Tim learned the value of hard work by working long hours for his father’s construction company. This lesson helps him every day as he engages in the hard work it takes to properly develop a case.

Tim received a business degree in finance from Southern Methodist University and a Juris Doctor (law degree) from South Texas College of Law.

Tim lives in Plano, Texas, with his wife, Quyen Tate, and their two children Michelle and Daniel.  The family attends Bent Tree Bible Fellowship.  Michelle is a student at The University of Texas at Austin and Daniel is a student at Baylor University.  Tim is involved in a number of charities.
