Nearly two decades ago, Tate saw the huge disparity in power between large insurance companies that are responsible for the financial payment of injury cases and the everyday person who was at the mercy and dictates of large insurance companies. “Insurance companies have massive amounts of power, and they do whatever they can to avoid paying fair value to an individual,” Tate says. “They throw up so many roadblocks that many people just give in and are only paid a small fraction of the true value of their claim. This is how the big insurance claims process is designed because it results in hundreds of millions of dollars in profits to insurance companies.”
